HUMC is blessed with youth who are very musically talented.  I am hoping they can each express their musical gifts in their own ways throughout the summer.  If your child is willing and available to play or sing a solo, I am happy to help them learn it, as well as accompany them on a piece of their choosing.  I can also provide music and help them make a selection.  It would be wonderful if any of your kids are interested in singing or playing a duet, trio, quartet, etc. with another youth or an adult.  Let me know and I can facilitate that.

I will be available on Thursday afternoons and early evenings for whatever help your child may need, whether it is to rehearse their pieces, teach them note-reading, theory, bell ringing, piano or vocal skills, even if it is not related to playing or singing for worship.

Youth who will be entering Grade 6 and above are also invited to join our adult singers in multi-generational ensembles.  Each ensemble will rehearse three times prior to singing for worship.   Women’s and Men’s ensembles rehearse immediately before or after the mixed ensemble for those who wish to participate in two ensembles.
