Sheryl Reynolds, Financial Secretary

How long have you been at HUMC? I worked at HUMC for almost 16 years, from June 1998 until February 2014.  This time around I have been here for a year. So if you add those up in November I will hit the 17-year mark.

What is your favorite hymn? My favorite hymn is Here I Am Lord.

What is your favorite part of your job? My favorite part of my job is keeping everything in order.  I love order and I love helping people.

What is your favorite food? If I was forced to pick a favorite food it would be Mexican.

Where do you like to vacation? Every time I go to a new place for vacation it ends up being my favorite place. But I am very fond of Hilton Head and Maui.

What is your favorite color? Don’t have a favorite color.

What is your favorite season in the church? My favorite season in the church is Christmas. 

What is your favorite book? I read too much to have a favorite book. LOL, A few authors I love are Dorothy Dunnet, Sharon Kay Penman, and Diana Gabaldon.  I love historical fiction!!

Tell us about your family. My husband and I have been married for 27 years this fall. He is a pharmaceutical rep. We have twin daughters who graduated from Michigan State last year and love to travel. We all love the outdoors and mountain bike, hike, ski, rock climb (I still haven’t learned this one yet). I am a ski patroller at Boston Mills. I also work for two other churches and the Canal District Office of Hudson UMC.  We have a cute little dog named Benni.
